How does it work?
You ask the question and set the price. It does not cost anything to ask a question, however, you must pay the nonrefundable retainer fee before reading the answer. If you find the answer acceptable, you must pay the balance owing. A retainer fee is an amount of money that acts as a fee prepayment. The remainder (if any) is nonrefundable, however, a credit will be issued and this credit can be put towards future services. The retainer fee shows that you are serious about the question you've asked and that you are willing to reward the astronomer for a helpful answer. You must provide a valid email address. If you enter your email address incorrectly, we will not be able to respond to your question. If your offer is too low with respect to the amount of effort required to answer your question, your offer may be rejected. In which case, you are welcome to increase your offer and ask your question again. Please note that if the Astronomer is unable to provide you with an answer, he will let you know and it will not have cost you anything, other than a bit of your time. We have some helpful tips that you should read before submitting your question. You should familiarize yourself with the step-by-step process involved with asking your question and getting an answer. This process has been outlined in the form of a flowchart located here. We recommended that you take a look at the Frequently Asked Questions and the Terms of Service before asking your question. |
